Dear Innovators and Friends,
Over the past few years, we have both been on separate journeys with the same goal. We want to be the best versions of ourselves so that we are able to live amazing lives.
In May 2016, we sat on a bench on the South Bank of the Thames discussing all of the ways that we had increased our happiness, focus, energy levels and our ability to handle to stress. We touched on many things including social interaction, meditation, yoga, exercise and sleep, but we both agreed - food was playing the biggest part in our day to day capabilities.
The discussion turned to how we could increase awareness that the food people eat has a huge effect on what they were capable of. We started thinking about how wonderful a world would be if everyone ate food that increased their productivity, happiness and performance. What would be the impact? It would improve the economy, sustainability, mental health and innovation whilst reducing inequality and broken homes - the list could go on, it would change almost everything for the better.
With this realisation we knew that we had to do something about it. Our "City" jobs meant we had first hand experience of the impact businesses could have on their people. We agreed that if 500 businesses in London were making their staff aware of the benefits of productivity food by providing their staff at least one meal a week with our message, the city would be a better place. And if businesses all over the world were doing this, the impact would be huge.
So that’s how we started, Nourish’d was founded 2 days later.
We want people to live the most amazing lives that they can. We want to live in a world that is solving problems quickly and having an amazing time doing it.
